Therapy for Parents
As a parent or mother…
You probably wonder whether you’re doing the “right” thing for your child. You might second guess a lot of your choices. You may have read parenting books or scrolled social media, but the offered advice isn’t working for you, and you’re not sure how to move forward.
Therapy can help you tune into yourself, and figure out what’s coming up for you as a parent. It can help you explore your own childhood, and determine what you would like to pass on to your children and what you’d like to leave behind. It can help you feel confident in your choices, and reclaim your natural role as the best parent out there for your child!
I have specialized training in maternal mental health, and am also trained in other therapies to support parents, including Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). I am also a mother. Drawing on these experiences, my aim is to help you build self-trust in your role as a parent.
